Little Snapzzz has the opportunity to ski Folgaria next year with school from 31st April.
Now i know nothing about this resort but at a max of 1700m I'm pretty sure this is a rubbish choice for that time of year.
IS there anything special about Folgaria that will hold its snow?

Sounds totally nuts to me....im definitely going to hunt down the stupid buffoon that is organising this one.
There are snow-forecast hindcasts going back 5 years....

The snowforecast hindcasts are pretty grim reading for that time of the year at 1600m. Circa 10 to 12 degrees, generally above freezing at night and rain.....
slippy slidey snow......me likey!

ah...I actually looked up 31st April as per your 1st post (thought it was an odd date!). presume you meant 31st March?
Hindcasts are slightly better (but not that much) for the end of March/early April.

Hope it's cheap and pack the shorts!!
Runs 1200m to 2000m and forecast to rain at the top next week.
Present conditions, 40cm at top, 10cm on lower slopes - Artificial !! I haven't seen that in a snow report before.
And snow-forecast haven't any historical data on this resort.
Sounds a bit iffy to me as an easter destination but I may be wrong.
My son went twice to Passo Tonale at Easter with school, had a wonderful time, skiing didn't improve much except in speed !!!

Are there Barney??
snow-forecast.com is saying "Unfortunately, snow history is currently not available for this resort." for me.
Ah well.....
Still think it is a muppet who thought this one up for Easter skiing!
Mind you I first skied in a place called Altenmarkt in Austria - 2 lifts I think!! It rained all week, my hands were blue from the dye in my gloves for ages, my kit was cheapy cheap and was never dry, neither was I
