No I'm not kidding Tony. She really did forget her ski jacket :lol:
She's a 'big girl' now (17) so all I did was ask her if she'd packed it (answer was 'yes') and I didn't actually look in her suitcase. But she was horribly busy the week before we left and somewhat distracted I suppose.
Anyway, it all worked out okay because the friend I was ski-ing with had luckily brought two ski jackets. And my daughter was feeling suitably foolish so she didn't complain about having to ski in a size 18 jacket all week when she's only a size 10 :D
I certainly wasn't going to buy her a new one at Courchevel prices :shock:

I left my daughter's skis at the bottom of the gondola on the last day in Kreischberg.
Apparently it was me that left them - I should have loaded them into the hire car while she wandered off shopping! That's 14 year olds.
They were all alone in the rack when we drove backto the Gondola station!

A 17 year old who was asked if she had packed her jacket and was going skiing should not be daft enough to forget it. Sounds like you're making excuses for her, being preoccupied etc. Is she a chip off the old block? lol

ESRG...whats Chamonix like? ...good I imagine, late in the season as its quite high. We may drive there from Megeve (As its lower alt) for a day or so..

If you're decent strong skiers, and its a nice day, hire a guide and do the Valley Blanche.
