Don't mind Tony. Hopefully you will not have any paintings to show us but only because you will be skiing like a demon all the time

I found the same thing - complaining thighs after a few hours hard skiing - then sat in the bath relaxing after such a day - I saw the reason - it dawned on me - I was 12 years older ( 56 ) AND 3 stone heavier ( the belly protruding from the bath water was the give away!! lol ) So back to the gym, cut down on the booze, 12 hour fasting diet( don't eat between 8 pm and 12 am next day ) and lost 8kgs ( 82 to 74 ) so this weeks fun should not hurt so much - oh - plus a few hours at the CHillfactore ( do I get a free pass? )

Off for a 3hr lesson in PM, to see what the experts have to say.

Have actually been working on some muscle memory to help separation whilst standing at my desk :-) and felt like was skiing super solid yesterday so will be interesting to see if they are in agreement :-).

Either way continual lesson are a big part of achieving and maintaining bio mechanical efficiency and avoiding any burning sensation. Even instructors do training sessions / seminars to keep their skiing evolving so perhaps we all need to embrace a continual learning philosophy vs. standard 2 weeks of lessons.

Hopefully technique does not get picked apart .

I can't find the right forum on here, so I thought Id add mine here....
Im after a reasonably cheap online shop for a replacement lens for my Oakley Stockholm Goggles please? Can anyone recommend? Need to be able to deliver to the uk by 30th Jan.

The thigh burn thing - the key is squat like hell before you go, hit the gym hard, its amazing what a difference it makes. Ive been boarding (I know, the dark side!!) for some years now, but still increase my training 6 weeks before I go.

Thanks guys, happy powder day :)
