Les Coches is a small, friendly resort.
There is a small Spar in the centre which stocks lots of stuff (considering how small it is!).
Also a bakery/patisserise (recommend the pain au cereal for breakfast and Alpage for lunch).
The butcher sells roast chickens and ready-made meals. Not as cheap as cooking for yourself but much cheaper than eating out.
We always go to L'Origan (overlooks centre on same path as ski school office). This sells pizza, pasta and local specials. For a more expensive meal try Taverne Monchu, about 10yds away. Unfortunately the restaurant up the slope (Les Lauze) has closed down so ignore adverts for it!
There's also another pizza restaurant by the pirouette club (children's club). Everything is really close in Les Coches!
The altitude restaurants are worth trying out as well.
Have a great time - we've been going to Les Coches for the past 17yrs and have just bought 2 flats there as we love it so much.

Hope you have a good time - snow forecast for midweek I see.
If you like the place but want to be able to select your accommodation next time then try a private let - there are about 20 on offer on Holiday Lettings (including ours). :D

Other restaurants worth trying Le Plein Soleil, on the mountain, above Les Coches left of the Plan Bois lift on the Mont Blanc piste. Les Colloses at Bellecote by the Patinoire left and slightly above the start of the Colosses chair and drag lifts, the Luge in Montalbert close to the main chair out of the village, La Roche across a small wooden bridge at the bottom of the La Roche chair in the Montalbert sector, great outdoor disco in the afternoon, Chalet de Verdon Sud on the lower part of the slopes heading towards Champagney from Les Verdon or La Grande Rochette , has a great sun terrace very good food - book a table.
Love The Paradiski area it has some thing for everyone.Dont miss the Inversens, Tunnel and Les Sources runs off the Roche de Mio.
