Going to montgenevre later this season. Does anyone have any top tips for eating out in Montgenevre, or where to get the best hot chocolate?
Any tips greatfully received.

Best one on the mountain is actually in Claviere at the Mon Soleil restaurant (if you like your hot chocolate thick) otherwise in resort we suggest Le Relax

Got back Saturday - had a great week - sunshine every day except Friday when there was a little snow (2cm). Eating out - Le Capittaine is a lively Italian restaurant that also does takeaway pizza's. Four of us had a meal with wine for 80 Euros. it can be full early in the evening. Best hot chocolate for me was at Refuge Gimont on the Claviere side of the Monti della Luna. If you get the chance to ski the Vialattea (Milky Way) there are lots more restaurants on the slopes and not so expensive.
Have a great trip

If you like thick Italian Hot Chocolates I'd go with Gimont on the slopes and Relax in Town.
Evenings:
Eating out, as Freddo said, Le Capitaine is great value and excellent Pizza, but can be busy. At the Other end of Town, Ceasar's is a popular pizza restaurant.
In the centre you have the Jamy and Refuge for traditional alpine fare. Also the Cadelsol.
More upmarket in the back street you have l'Estable. On the main street you have the Cloche - small, intimate, good food.
Lunchtime in the Village:
Relax, Graal, Petit Creux, Cadelsol.
Otherwise eat on the slopes in Italy.

Best hot chocolate is in Austria, at the bottom of St Christoph just round the corner from St Anton, in the big swanky hotel cafe by the hire shop.
Ok it was £5 but none of us had ever tasted anything like it.
I've skied a few days in Montgenevre, and I have to say the Brits there were all very posh and loaded, doing lots of buying and selling on mobile phones in loud plumby accents.
Enjoy!!!
