booked up for a week in soleil village at the end of feb. from what i've heard its great for ski ski out- and good skiing in general?

Howdy Gonzo,
Just back from Plagne Soleil. Good for ski out and ski back in... but if you want to go out down at the village, its a bit of a pain to get back. You need to take a cable car and bus to get back; or you can walk back. Either way, it's a bit of hassle. There is a really nice guy in charge of the restaurant in Monica's Plagne Soleil - good character, food etc. In fact the restaurant beside the Spar is also lovely.. make sure to book a table in advance. Also, if you arrive to the resort after 11pm on a sunday, bring some food with you, as everything was closed when we got there. I had a lovely time there to be honest - nice mix of relaxation, food, aprex ski and slopes. All the best, Cash
