hey everyone im going to bad gastein on the 26th dec to the 2nd jan 4 of us learning to ski just wondering whats the place like and whats the night life like there cheers :wink:

Hi,
Haven't been myself yet but done a lot of research.
They are all-year-round spa resort rather than typical Austrian ski villages.
Most skiers pamper themselves after skiing in one of the large world-class spas (Felsentherme % AlpenTherme). Bag Gastein livelier that Bad Hofgastein, but very steep. Superb hotels, restaurants and Cafe bars in both. Varied, but fragmented skiing. A friend of mine goes there every year (11th season running) and loves it.
I would love to go myself soon:)
