[moved] Champoluc, January 12th 2004

Wow, what a day... we spent the morning up at the outpost of Antagnod - a small separate ski area not far from Champoluc. Paradise for our "lower intermediate/improvers" as they skiied long deserted Blues with six inches of powder under their feet.

This afternoon it bucketed down with snow so we skiied above Franchey. Visibility poor to abysmal but the snow was fantastic. Knee-deep on the pistes and anything up to waist deep elsewhere, light and fluffy above mid-point. Probably well over 30cm fell this afternoon at altitude.

Forecast is for more snow tomorrow, clearing Wednesday... get here if you can!
