Hi , can anybody recommend a family friendly restaurant 3 kids 7, 10 and 11 for new years eve. We are staying in Briancon for new years eve and then going to chantlmerle for rest of hol. If you have any suggestions i would appreciate it :)

Theres a good restaurant located in a small hotel right next to the Plorel gondola in town. Other than that, I dont know Briancon well enough.
I could give you a fantastic place in Villeneuve however, but I would imagine its already fully booked for NYE.

Would the Briancon gondola be running on NYE? We really enjoyed the food at the chalet style restaurant at the mid station.

There's lots of restaurants in the Old Town, Places like Le Valentin http://www.levalentin.fr/ and Le Rustique T: 04 92 21 00 10 come well recommended although I haven't eaten there myself.

I don't know if that gondola runs in the evening at all - let alone NYE (is what I meant)
