Yes, a pal skied there last winter and was keen on the area. The lack of infrastructure investment money is likely to affect several other Valais resorts in the near future. Ovronnaz and Evolene/Nax are two I'm seen mentioned.

Thats a real shame - such a great area! Hopefully they can raise the funds and reopen in 11/12 - would be a shame if the whole thing was left to rust...
