We have been with Colletts the last 2 years at half term in Haus Valentine and had a fantastic time! They looked after us superbly well.

Not able to do half term this year so for a change are heading to Corvara, to Chalet Verena the week after New Year.

Will try to remember and report in when we get back.

But I have to say I am expecting nothing but a fantastic time after the way Colletts have looked after us the past two years.

New to the forum - stayed in late January last year in Haus Valentin also and have rebooked for next winter at the same chalet. Skiing in the area was amazing and I don't think we skied the same piste twice. So many routes with the Collett's staff. Our favourite was the Hidden Valley which is easily accessed from Corvara as well. As rustyinn says we expect to have an equally fantastic time on our next visit.
Collett's had a lot of reports on their facebook page with webcams and snow reports last year and it now looks like they have a blog. http://www.facebook.com/CollettsMountainHolidays

Went to Corvara in 2008 with Colletts and stayed in chalet Verena. Had a fantastic time - you will enjoy it. A bit of hike to the lifts in the morning but not too bad. Can get quite close at the end of the day. Food great - not haute cuisine, but very tasty and plenty of it.

Hi rustyinn, how did you get on at Chalet Verena recently?!!

Myself and my girlfriend have just booked it up today for late March, managed to get the last room they had! I've never skied before in my life but have heard Corvara's a great place for beginners and that Colletts are really good people to book through. Not seen a bad report yet to be fair!

Our main concern is how good the conditions will be at that time (20th - 27th March) but Colletts have assured us that good skiing conditions should be found there all through the season due to how well they look after the pistes and the many snow machines etc. Really hope they're right!!

A group of us were there fist week in MArch 2010 and in another resort with Colletts in 2009...and going to Arraba with them in a few weeks.
Chalet Verena is perfect. Large modern rooms, big shower/bathrooms ensuite, 5 min walk to main lifts....but best of all, excellent staff. Fun atmosphere, good food, good knowledge of ski areas and guiding trips for ski and boarders. The perfect ski holiday. Enjoy.
