Hello guys
maybe some of you might be able to advice me on this one based on past expirience.

We finally decided to go to skiwelt in austria this year. i have checked the piste map of the area and it seems that it is comprised of two main areas. the one that is left of Brixen in Thale and the one that is on the right of Brixen as in the picture:

http://www.skiwelt.at/en/download.asp?Fid=3856&Path=content

I noticed that the area that is right of Brixen has the logo of Kitzbuheler Alpen which in my understanding is a different ski resort requiring a different pass.

is my understanding corredt? do we need an extra ski pass to ski in that area? is it worth it to buy the extra skipass?

we planned on staying in brixen in order to be able to ski in both areas but if we have to buy an extra pass then we might stay somewhere else

Stayed in Westendorf last year and skied both sides on the same pass, think we just had to ask for the all area pass, which was a few Euros extra and so had access to both areas.

Definately worth the extra money for the pass and I think it worked out to be 35Euros per day or there abouts.

A skiwelt lift pass covers all the lifts on the piste map. The Kitz logo, shows where you need to buy a kitz pass. You can choose to buy a pass to cover both. Look on the skiwelt website for pass tarifs.
