French ski area Superbagnères, above Luchon, has announced it will install a new quad chairlift, the Arbesquens lift, this winter, increasing capacity ad uplift speed on the route.
Superbagnères is a friendly and traditional ski resort nestled in the heart of the French Pyrenees close to the border with Spain but only 90 minutes from Toulouse.
Set on a natural plateau at 1800 metres, Superbagneres offers great viewsdof the Luchon Valley below and its spectacular mountainous backdrop. It takes eight minutes to reach the slopes from Luchon by gondola, or it's a 17km drive by road.
The resort centre, Bagneres de Luchon is a charming village with elegant Napoleonic architecture with the Luchon Superbagneres gondola from the resort centre. The resort is home to the Forme et Bien-Être fitness and spa centre, numerous restaurants, cafés, bars and discotheques and a casino.
