Does anyone have any info on resorts which are open towards the end of the season in Italy.
We are thinking of getting away for a few days skiing between the 11-18th April , and thought Monte Rosa maybe worth a visit.
Does anyone know if it's still open at this time of year?
If not has anyone heard of any others which would still have good off-piste skiing!
Thanks for all your help.

Sam, I skiied at Champoluc (Monte Rosa) in April 08 and 09 - both were the best skiing I'd had all year. Booked again this year (4th - 10th April).
If you're lucky, the offpiste possibilities are excellent, with a new lift to 3200+m and heli-ski available too (I'm not good enough for that) - you can ski over to Zermatt and back in a day!
We go with "ski2" who are very good.

Ski2 provide accommodation only plus lift passes, plus you can arrive any day of the week to suit your travel arrangements.
They are not cheap, but they seem to offer good value for money IMO.
Probably as good as anyone to go there with, and its a place that not too many people seem to either know about of have skied.
