They have been around for about five years here. I finally got around to getting some this year, and they are worth every penny of the $30 they cost. They easily make your feet feel like it's 10'C warmer. You can actually feel the bottoms of your feet colder the the tops. So if you suffer from cold feet, this would be a no brainer. Wish I had bought some before.
