Off to Les Arcs in a few weeks and would like to have a pair of goggles that don't mist up and i can see where i.m going in cloudy snowy conditions, any ideas anyone?

There are a few threads going on about goggles and the crux of it is you get what you pay for.

I have Oakleys, 4 years old now, and worth every penny had to change the lens this year due to scratching them last season so worth looking for that feature too.

However, you must ensure that they fit you properly and fit with your helmet if you are wearing one.

Thanks for the info TC, what about lenses for poor light? Any particular type?

I wore my Adidas Yodai goggles in ADH a couple of weeks ago and have to say you most definitely get what you pay for. They were very comfortable on my face, and perfect in both bright sunlight and flat light.

People seem to forget that no matter what goggles you have, if you put them up on your cold and possibly damp hat whilst you ride the gondola back up, they are going to mist up. Simple answer, dont do it.

I have the Persimmon lenses which seem ideal for me in low/flat light, but tend to use them all the time.

The Oakley website has a chart to help you with lenses and I have seen some good deals on ebay
