We are travelling to Mayrhofen, February half term and would like advice on eating out and best runs for intermediates. We will have our son with us who is 8 so any advice on the local area would be fantastic. Our accomodation is allocation on arrival in a guesthouse.

Thanks

I'm heading out to Mayrhofen on Saturday. Same deal. I also asked for advice and got some excellent replies, including from Tony H. If you look half way down page 2 of the Austria forum its all there.

I'll post some stuff when I return as well.

I believe you are the expert in the area. As we are aollocation on arrival, do you know which guest houses they use. By the way were you in Mayrhofen skiing last week if so are conditions good?

No, they use various guest houses, you wont know until you get there, but from my experience they are all nice and friendly, good sized rooms, etc. If you are not happy, complain straight away and you might get moved. Unlikely you will need to, its not like the french apartments!

I havent skied in Mayrhofen this season, sorry. Check the webcams to see what its like on www.mayrhofen.at
