Hi tonypants. I'm not sure if you can get it to play as an embedded video like the youtube ones, but you have missed the opening [ tag in your first post. If you add that, at least the picture will work as a link to the video on photobucket.

Hope that helps.

Suggestion - put her into ski school and don't try to teach her yourself unless that's what you do for a living. It's money well spent.

That's fun. She's looks to be doing great. Kids of that age are very much in the monkey see, monkey do mode of learning. At the speeds she is comfortable with, the others in the group feel they can stand straight, let arms hang, and lean back in their boots. The problem is that a five year old is watching her family, and getting the idea that this is how our family skis. No point in telling her to put her arms out in front, if all around are not. She'll want to look like everyone else. Just a thought.

Agree with Far Queue If you want her to get the basics quickly and not pick up bad habits put her into ski school. Unless you are an instructor yourself.
My 5-year-old spent 1 week at ski school and was coming down red runs almost parallel at the end of 2 weeks. Never looked back and had many weeks of training/instruction since. You can never have too much instruction regardless of how good you are or think you are.

Hi All, I fully fully agree with what you are saying, I forgot to say that she has had a week in ski school and can now ski blue runs confidently, however, now skiing I took her on the green runs with my wife and daughter as the temptation is to see how well she has progressed and to obviously ski with her, that's why you put her into ski school in the first place!

BUT you are very right in saying that she will be tempted to copy our "bad habits".

Thanks for the advice of which I never thought about!
