Is this the same ChrisG I met at Niederau last year , only joking mate, wherever you go enjoy it!
Nice town, loads of choice for apres however you like it, good places to eat, easy to get about. Just make sure if you go that you get up on the first lift at 8.15am and avoid the queues that develop at 9.

Hold out if you can. I booked to Scheffau last year, 2nd week in Jan and got half board with flights from Cardiff for £247 per person. Booked it the week before Christmas. The village is a bit quiet but you're slap in the middle of the Skiwelt so can ski all day and you won't get bored.
I'm biting my nails trying to hold on this year. A few people here have said they expect Jan prices to fall soon.

Ok cool, well from my experience of those places you have suggested, I have only been to Mayrhofen but it has TONS of pistes to go at, and you can ski up to 400km including linked areas. Its high up and has a good snow record, lots of reds for confident intermediates, some lovely skiing over in Eggalm which you can ski to, and a short trip down the valley to Zell (free bus or train) opens up loads more.ChrissyG wrote:There is me and the war office.we are both skiing red runs to a fashion so looking to improve on that.we will be taking lessons. As for the ski area would prefer not to have to ski the same runs everyday
