booked for xmas week in wagrain, austria.
desperatly looking at the webcams wishing it to be white. they had a huge dump of snow about 3 weeks ago and nothing since. there are scraps of white, but nothing spectacular.
Fingers crossed there will be more really soon

You still have a month to go, a lot can change in a month (or a week, or a day...)
I wouldn't be worrying until a few days before you go if there is no snow in the forecast ;)

If you have booked a ski holiday, and a few days before there is literally no snow, are the tour op obliged to offer you another holiday elsewhere instead?

no we have booked a chalet ourselves through the owner, but if there is no snow, then we will just have to do the xmas markets in salzburg and just get drunk.
We will enjoy it either way, it is only a 7 hour drive from where we are, so no long travelling.
