Are you?
Checking ski resort websites even though they are closed?
Posting stupid comments on ski forums?
If so, then you may have PWS (Powder Withdrawal Syndrome)
PWS normally emerges during late May in the Northern Hemisphere and around September-October in the southern hemisphere.
I'm worried because I have exhibited the symptoms above. Does anybody else suffer from this? Are there any other symptoms that I should look out for?

No, never paddled the Liffey. Upper Lough Erne is my playground. :D

Guilty as charged, all counts :D
The next stage is to buy more ski kit, and keep fondling it over the summer :D

Ah yes - PWS. Add the symptoms of uncontrollable rage, the urge to eat lots of chocolate. Oh wait - that's PMS
Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity

I paddle a canoe from May till October, it doesn't help with the underlying syndrome but it takes my mind off the symptoms )

You got it all wrong, I have the disease under control, I'm focusing on my summer holiday where I still may get a bit of glacier skiing in ( But my lot do not seem too keen ) and as a side line just collect bits of kit, I am thinking that the disease has started to spread as I seem to be using Facebook more.

The solution to PWS is to go to your favourite resort in the summer. It's still the same friendly folk. Alpine walking builds up the muscles that medically counteract PWS. The end result is that you feel alpine. You have met with German/French like-mindeds. Tasted the beer.
Then, you could take palliative action. Leave a copy of the Thomsons ski brochure on the table in the bathroom, ready for every convenient occasion. Replace with First Choice in June, and Inghams in July. By September, mild panic will be setting in, if you are not yet booked.
I am content.
