Thompsons - I think I took the last seats on the plane from Gatwick but there were spaces from Manchester
I have been to Sauze twice, and each time the 3 star hotels were more like 1 star, but we had a fantastic time because the village is cool and the slopes are brilliant.
I do know the Hotel Splendid though, and met people who stayed there and said it was great.
Book it.

Anybody stayed there - I have a late booking for 22 March - the description says half board, en suite, gym, indoor pool - which sounds good and as I have paid only £580 including lift pass and ski and boot hire, anything above 'cheap and nasty' is a bonus.

Try www.sauzeonline.com as they have a lot of honest hotel reviews on their forum - I haven't stayed here but IIRC the comments were all pretty positive.
Not sure if you have been before or not, but Sauze (and the rest of the Milky Way) is a fantastic ski area so assuming the snow has lasted you should have a great time.

Sounds like a good inclusive deal - which company is it through? We are thinking of going that week as well.

It would have to be an incredible deal to drive all the way up to Manchester for us - being in the Chilterns. Hope you have a great holiday!
