Hi,
Can anyone give me some tips on how to get to Sainte Foy from Bourg Sainte Maurice around 10pm? I'm getting an Alpski bus from Geneva to Bourg this Wednesday (11 March), but the bus does not stop at Sainte Foy.
As far as I can tell, the public bus service stops much earlier, and the taxis that I've found charge around €55, which seems extortionate for what is (I gather) a 15 minute journey.
I'd be very grateful for any tips.

Yeh it is literally 15 minutes up the hill. Where are you staying? See if altibus have any making the trip?

I'm joining some friends at Chalet Fegguese, at Sainte Foy station proper. Good tip about e-mailing Altibus - I will try them. It costs €55 from Geneva to Bourg, so I'm very reluctant to pay the same for the last 15 minutes! (which is the tariff quoted here: http://www.altitude-espace-taxi.com/tarifs.htm).
Do people with experience think it would be cheaper and / or feasible to pick up a taxi at the bus station?

I arrived at around 5pm to head up to Sainte Foy and there were plenty taxis to be had, can the folks who run the chalet not pick you up? I stayed at the Whiteroom Chalet in January and they offered to pick me up from Bourg.

Cheers for the info re. taxis - might trust to that as a last resort.
I could ask the people already there to pick me up, but don't really want to interrupt their evening at 10pm!
