Afternoon,
Does anyone know how prices compare to the UK? Have any sales kicked in yet?
We have a small group coming out a week tomorow for an extended weekend and 2 guys are considering buying ski's. Although I'm not sure how I'll get 5 pairs of skis, 5 adults & bags in the estate car for the journey back to Geneva!!
Thanks in advance,
Greg

Hi Greg, welcome to J2ski :D
You sure about your destination? There's not much skiing there, and no nightlife. You may as well head for Verbier, you have to pass the turn off on the motorway. :D
Not sure if there are any sales on yet in Switzerland, and the exchange rate is much less favourable than a year ago. I am reliably told that in Zinal a pair of Movement Black Rose with Marker Baron bindings is on sale at CHF 1100. In the UK the ski is £379, and the binding £209.
You will however be passing a large Stockli store at Vevey on the way from Geneva :D
Good luck with the return trip )
