Valmeinier nightlife sounds very similar to Chamrousse which was non-existent. Having said that, went last Easter (2nd week) and there was still plenty of snow and no queues. Perfect for intermediates, advanced skiers might get bored - the one challenging black run/itinerary involved a lengthy walk out as the lift had been closed for some time! Had an excellent time though, was nice to be away from the mega-resorts with obsene prices and queues!
