Yes, at the Kasse at the Penkenbahn, or pay the rep on the transfer bus.

Compare that to the price of smaller resorts, for example the Wildschonau, and its money well spent for 6 days.

Can't really whinge about the price really - based on the HUGE ski range the pass gives it IS money well spent.

Tony - do you know if the Glacier is any quieter at the start of the week (Mon/Tues) as the general consensus to people we spoke to mid-week was "No, we haven't ventured that far yet..." and since we're there Sun-Sun, will the slopes be noticeably free of 'tourists' on the Saturday, since generally this is the travelling day for us brits?

I have never been to Tux, as I havent had the need to in my previous visits, theres plenty to go at. However, changeover days are Sat and Sun, but then you get the locals and the Germans on the slopes at weekends, so I guess theres not a lot in it.
I'd ask Tino, hes the Tux regular!

Will do.

Think the main appeal of the Tux was the fact that we'd be skiing somewhere that was a height of 2 miles UP from where we live...

That takes some strange thought processes!
