I am looking for ski school for my 3 kids. Something that will take them for a few hours for 2 or 3 days. Any recommendations? I have seen a web site but can't make head or tail of it.
I'll have two girls learning to ski and one boy learning to board.

Hello - I am going to Pila in early March for a week and was going to put my 2 young girls into ski school. It is their 3rd year skiing. However, I was advised to get a private instructor for 2 hours on the tuesday and the same again on the thursday as the private lesson rates are so much cheaper than French and Swiss resorts.

This is what www.welovetoski.com say:

"Ski School and Mountain Guides
As is often the case in Italian resorts, group lessons are priced very close to the European average - a five day programme of classes will set you back 155 Euros. Private classes are, by contrast, DIRT CHEAP.

You can get a one hour private lesson for 34 Euros! In the A-list French resorts, that would to set you back at least 65 Euros. Having this kind of close personal attention (provided your instructor can speak good English), is going to make a HUGE difference to your skiing and your experience of the holiday - and you'd be mad not to try it out at least once. Visit www.scuoladiscipila.com for details of Pila's school.

Bear in mind this is also a great resort to try out your own ski-instructor credentials - if you've been on one of those gap-year learn-to-be-an-instructor courses. British tour operator Interski runs a big schools-skiing programme in Pila and is on the look-out for instructors to teach children for just one week. Read Maria Frantzi's feature on the subject here."

Hope that is of some use - Interski does run a relatively cheap ski school but not sure if you can book children with them if you haven't booked a holiday with them.
