We are going to visit friends who live about 40k down the lake from Geneva (Swiss side). Can anyone advise on resorts near Geneva worth a visit, thinking of around Juras mountains. Thanks

40km, that's around Nyon then?
It may be just as easy to go somewhere like Leysin or Villars although it's a good chance to visit somewhere like goff suggests in the Jura if the conditions are good.
