Just wondering if anyone is flying out there on 22nd Feb?

I'm flying out and was wondering if anyone wanted to buddy up? I'm intermediate, and by Bulgarian standards can ski some Black runs.

Cruisers paradise. Might give it a blast sometime soon, possibly via Zermatt.

Cervinia is a great resort and I would highly recommend it Caron-a!!

I learnt to ski there and there was plenty of runs for the beginner/intermediate but also there is the mileage to be covered if thats what you want as it links into Zermatt (weather dependent).

The night life was good with plenty of live music in the bars.

you've sold me. I think the boys are going to learn to snowboard next year so with that (and confidence building for me) it's moved to the top of my list for 2010.

Very sorry to hear that Caron :(

I would highly recommend the ski school they were fantastic and by the end of the week I was happily skiing down the red runs in the resort. All the instructors were Italian with a fantastic command of English. They definitely push you to improve but at a good pace so that you don't become nervous.
