Just back from above and had a great time 7 days of sun...most of the slopes are open and the conditions on the piste were great but getting a bit thin ..the forecast was for lots of snow in the next few days..but take care with your cash ,,there are robbers in Flaine...€3.2 for a packet of crisps! €3.6 for a cup of coffee and €7.5 for a bowl of soup Samoens was much cheaper and so was Morrillons and if you have a car make sure you shop out of town as the local small supermarkets are nearly as expensive!

Glad you had a good time. We're about to head off to St Gervais - have just bought us each a small flask & intend to picnic every day! A friend has told me there are a number of facilities in the area which have 'hors sac' facilities so you can have your own picnic & buy a drink or chips if you wish. A much better idea than the 'pique-niques interdits' you normally see everywhere!

It looks like it's going to be too cold & snowy to sit out on the slopes to eat :D
The plan is.... there's no plan!
