do you reckon skiworld get commission for suggesting it on chalet night off???
With all due respect to the Reps, you need to remember that they are typically 19 year old kids with little or no money and whatever they have tends to go on cheap pizza and booze (and good luck to them).
Unfortunately, in my experience, this does tend to mean that they will have little or no first hand experience of the local decent restaurants.

the lifts don't run late to les brevieres and it seems the buses don't either as my friends got stuck down there
L'arbina is a great restaurant, great food and excellent service. we only ate downstairs but upstairs is supposed to be rather nice (and pricey!).
There's definitely happy hour in the bars but I couldn't tell you what time. I'd recommend the loop bar if you want somewhere busy when the sun's going down.
Enjoy

We ate upstairs in L'arbina 3 weeks ago, excellent food, prices not too bad compared to other resturants.
Loop bar charge 3.5 euros a pint during happy hour. Which is really good! Cheaper by the jug!

Reps don't recommend a thing unless they are getting something out of it, can't say I blame them!
