Les Crosets - perfect gateway to the Suisse and French Portes du Soleil

I just wanted to see how many of you know Les Crosets and it surroundings? I have discovered this small ski resort in Switzerland a few years ago and go there now every year.

I often get the feeling that people prefer big ski resort with a lot of apres-ski activities. I on the other hand love the quieteness of small resorts. The good thing about Les Crosets is that it give good accesibility to Avoriaz and Chatel (+ many other place in France). Besides that they have some lovely restaurant such as the Relais (www.relais-crosets.com) which also offers rooms. But I just love it to rent a nice and cosy chalet with a fireplace. It just gives a nice atmosphere. The last two years we have stayed in Chalet la Folie (www.chaletlafolie.eu) and had a fabulous time. I would really recommend this chalet for big and small groups and even for familiy with children.

We also went to Les Crosets during the summer of 2007 and did some biking and hiking trips!
