You'll need the full paradiski lift pass. Aime is about as far away from Les Arcs, ski wise, as you can get in the La Plagne/Les Arcs ski area. You'll need to Ski down to Plagne Centre, then down to Bellecote, up the Arpette, and down to Montchavin to catch the Vanoise Express cable car. Take a reasonable skiier about an hour.

Might be quicker to get a taxi! :?: )

To be honest i'd advise getting just the la plagne pass and upgrading on whatever day you need! There's plenty of skiing in La Plagne!

Yep, a one day extension to the standard La Plagne pass would be a good idea, as masses of skiing, without having to go over to les Arcs every day. With exchange rate as it is, would be a good idea financially.

I agree - don't bother with the Paradiski pass, just buy an add on for the day if you need it. The La Plagne pass is significantly cheaper and the area is easily big enough for a week. I was there last year when the Vanoise link to Les Arcs was out of service - wasn't a problem at all.
Bon. Allez!

Its a long haul over to Les Arcs and you need to be very careful on the way back if you don't want to get stranded and face a very expensive taxi ride home. I agree with the others - if you want to go, one day is probably all your will want to do. I think there is actually a Paradiski Discovery pass that allows 1 day in Les Arcs that would probably be the easiest solution - about €210 rather than €246 for the full Paradiski area pass for 6 days IIRC. You can check if out on the resort website. Good luck and enjoy.

Couldn't agree more with all these comments; don't bother with the full paradiski pass, simply isn't worth it. Les Arcs is great though and very different from La Plagne so just upgrade the pass as and when you need it. Furthermore, if you're in Aime, you'll spend all your time getting over there and back. With all the snow we've had already, there'll be tons to keep you occupied in La Plagne. If it's open, do the Mont de la Guerre off the back into Champagny - it's incredible.
