Hi All,
take a look at the following link. I can't take advantage being a teacher, but it might be worth a look if you are planning a trip that doesn't fall in the school holidays.

If I could take advantage I'd see it more as £150 worth of free Columbia ski wear!

Interesting, but I just don't need the gear at the moment. :)

Thats a really good deal. From experience, I can say that Columbias gear is excellent quality. I have had a pair of cargo style sallopettes by Columbia for 5 years, and they have been brilliant. Nice styling, good quality, water and wind proof and warm too. However, they are getting a few nicks in them now from the boot clips and also where I packed them round my skis last year.
Unfortunately, I have replaced them already with some NF pants from the US at a very good price so I dont need any myself.
For anyone considering buying new gear, I would recommend Columbia stuff.

I agree, I have just replaced my columbia jacket which was an excellent servant.

My columbia ski jacket is the best one I've ever had, I really like this brand. More to the point though, is that, if you are planning to spend £150 or more on flights at some point soon, you might as well get £150 worth of new gear (needed or not) and get the flight for free.
If only I wasn't a teacher :x:

A couple in our village have wanted to take up skiing for ages, the lady is a teacher. So we are going with them to Niederau, at New Year, a time which we would not normally choose. It is costing three times my normal January weekly cost.
Were I to be going solo, it would cost much less, I would have booked early, and stayed cheap.
You can go sking in School hols, but it either costs a lot more, or you do a heap of research, to obtain reasonable cost.
