Hi there how are you?

Andorra and snowboarding. Well I guess a lot has been yet said and written about it on this forum. But as I am kind of new here I would like to see if serious snowboarders can reply on this topic and whether they can tell from experience or from other stories how the snowboardscene has been developed in Andorra through the last years. And especially what terrain I can expect. I have something like 12 years experience of snowboarding and on a high level (from 1 to 10, like 8). Throughout the years I have been lucky enough to go to the best resorts in France and now I am interested to go to Andorra. I know there are websites of this specific area, but I would like to hear to read from the people who have been there yet and tell what I can expect within the area. Feel free to tell whatever you want to tell about it and what the oppurtinities are to get a similar feeling like what I
had in France for the last 12 years. Thank you very much for your resond. Am looking forward to it!

Andorra is sh*t. Sorry I can't be more constructive.

Well that is quit clear to be honest. But what about snowparks? Could you provide more info on that one perhaps? Thanks!

The park in El Tarter is pretty sizeable, well maintained, good pipe.

Sounds pretty cool. Here is a link: http://www.snowuz.com/Spots/Snowparks/grandvalira-snowpark.html

And how about stay there in a campingsite (but then like houses, so no caravans or tents but houses). Is there something close with that aswell? And has someone experience to spend time not next to the slopes but more like campingwise? Thanks!

Just spoke to a friend who skis & snowboards - he tried Andorra last year and would concur with RossF - S**t.

Thank you rustyinn! Appreciate that a lot. Despite the fact that my ambition is like to have runs similar as in Les Arcs, Tignes, Val Thorens, Meribel etc etc I think the change to ride like that in Andorra is getting smaller by the minute... Or am I kinda wrong on this point of view?

i went to Andorra with 2 boarders last season and they were horrified with it. it isnt too bad for skiing as there are plenty of runs but a lot of them are striaght so boarders have to clip then reclip. if you go there prepare for a lot of walking :(
