The Burton Custom looks a good compromise for what you want to do. It sounds a little soft for the best performance on groomed runs, but you need that in the park. If groomers are your main terrain, you may want a board to be a little stiffer and more directional. Main features to look for are wood core and side wall construction (though cap side walls can be ok too)

Same thing for boots, softer for the park and stiffer for free riding.

Sorry, can't be more specific

I don't do park, mainly all terrain mountain including powder.

I have last years Burton Supermodel 168cm, and it is fantastic for these conditions. Floats on powder, and has some really agressive edges on it, excellent range of binding positioning and fairly stiff.

Really love this board!
