madonna di campiglio???

sooo...off skiing again next year - :D - but unfortunatly some of our party dont want to go back to the same place again (corvara). can anyone tell us what the think of madonna?? most people going are intermeadiates but one is a little nervous about red runs. planning to head off in late feburary.

Skied there for a day last January (we were staying in Tonale and caught the free bus down to Mireleva), some nice runs and the scenery was spectacular - very different from one side of the valley to the other. Quite a few fast lifts, but also the odd slow bottleneck, probably not so much of a worry more of an inconvenience if your staying in the village, but when we had to get back over the link to catch the bus at Mireleva it did mean we curtailed our plans a bit to allow plnety of time to get back. Didn't really see any of the village as we spent all day on the piste.

Snow conditions were on the whole excellent - but we had just had a huge dump 48hrs before so I don't know if that's the norm.

Would love to go back and ski the area again, but don't know if I'd want to do a full week.
