Why can I not find people interested in going in a group? I used to organise groups of between 6 and 30 and give all the discounts to members.
Been away for 5 years (not what you think) and would like to start something again. Any interest?
Go ski with a group?

Hi there. 5 years - which post office did you do? )
From what I can make out, most people on here do their own thing, and have certain places they favour. For me and a couple of others, its Mayrhofen, but I like to try other places, and fully intend to over the coming years.
TBH, I think a lot of it depends on where you are thinking of going, where from, how you are getting there, etc. For example, if you were going to Courchevel on a bus, I would not be the slightest bit interested. However, if you were flying to Zermatt, I would think differently.
I do think that these days people are able to find deals on holidays which enable them to go where they want with who they want for good prices, but I wouldnt dismiss any possibility personally.
If you come up with a cracking deal, let us know what it is on here, and you may get some takers.
Welcome on board, anyway.

Nah I don't think we have enough people to make it work here, unless it's in Neiderau

Hi JimChris,Welcome to J2ski.
The folk`s on here tend to make their own holiday arrangments but there`s no harm in asking.Have you thought about advertising locally ?

Did spend the 5 years in the French Alps. People need to lighten-up on favouritre destinations! Every ski station has something to offer! I think most have such a good time - they think they have to go back to the same resort - NOT TRUE....
You name it and I've prob been there and still looking......

People go back to the same resort`s JimChris not because they have to, Its because they want to.Some for us are seasonaire`s to some resort`s and go back because we love what the place has to offer as well as meeting up with old friend`s.
Some member`s meet up annually and some are fortunate have their own place so there will always be favourite`s.

What I meant was that people feel they have to go back to get the same buzz. I appreciate hat and all the other reasons but for me, the new adventure, just adds loads. Can't get enough and want to share that!

So, back to basics - anyone interested in sharing discounts for a group booking either this year or in the future at a rated resort prob late January or any time in March? There's no commitment either way - just an interest.
