Accommodation and work in Banff, Whistler or Fernie

Hey, im hopeing to head out to either Banff, Whistler or Fernie in January with a couple of mates, want to stay for about 4 months.

We are thinking of just getting the accommodation sorted and then finding work whilst in or around the resorts, was wondering how much work is on offer to anyone who hasnt got a work placement before they arrive.

Any information on the availability of work would be much appreciated, better more if anyones done the whole finding work whilst out there thing then would love to hear from you.

Also we're still looking/applying for accommodation, how much would we be looking at to stay on a monthly basis? We've all got enough cash but want to hold on to some as we will be travelling afterwards aswell, we're looking for any shared accommodation, again any info would be great.

Work is plentiful in Whistler (provided you have a visa) and you will be able to sort something when you arrive. Accommodation more difficult to find.
