:DHi All,

A chap i work with has put me onto this company who sell clothing made from Bamboo Fibres and says that the socks he purchased keep his feet dry even in the hottest weather and are very comfortable to wear.

I must confess that i have not made a purchase as yet but intend to do so as they also sell underwear and layers to help with wicking away moisture from next to the skin to help keep you dry ,and that the clothing has a natural built in anti-bacterial qualty which means an end to smelly used socks etc,it seems the outdoor sports scene will be a good market wth the right advertising.

I was wondering if anyone else had heard of this or has purchased anything of the same, seems they may give the man made fibre micro layers a run for their money.

I have a couple of pairs of bamboo socks. It is like no other material I have worn. They are very comfortable and don't seem to get sweaty. Although they are relativeky thick, they have a silk like feel. I will try other bamboo clothing products when I find them going cheap.

I would be interested to hear about how this clothing performs as a winter baselayer vs HH/Icebreaker etc
