Does anyone have any experience of these resorts and their connected ski area? Its not a place I am familiar with, and appears to have a good ski area, and good altitude too.
Thanks.

Tony,
My husband and I skied St Sorlin on the last day of last season, late April this year. We had a great afternoon with superb spring conditions, blue skies, empty slopes, corn snow, blah, blah. It is difficult to say how it might be that time of year in a different season but of course this year there had been a lot of snow. None of the links were open, most of the other resorts in the area had closed the week before.
From what I gather Les Sybelles ski area has come into existence in recent seasons, linking up some of the smaller resorts in the Maurienne valley. If you are used to the more established French areas, the lift system here will appear a little antiquated by comparison but they do claim to have 300km of piste which is decent. The resort itself is very low key and a bit of a trek to get to but pleasant enough.
If you are looking for somewhere different, laid back but a decent size this may well be it. Forget about the Apres ski and shopping though. Hope this helps.
