Hi there
I have contacted the Schischule Wildschönau about lessons for my kids (who will be 8&10).
I asked a few questions which they didnt really answer becuase I dont think they are really open anyway and I dont think they really understood my questions.
They sent me a word document about the tarifs for the skiscule and for children for 6 days it is138 euro. Now what I cant work out is this all day or is this just half a day and you choose either morning or afternoon? When i asked the question they said
"Normal skischool is daily 4 hours from 10-12 and 1.30-3.30 pm.You can book when you arrive."
I just think that seems really cheap for a week for 4 hours of skiing? this is what they sent me.
do you think it will be the same price for adults and children? and will adults be 2hours inthe morning and 2 hours in afternoon? It threw me because half way down it says alpine half days so not sure what that is.

Ooops....didnt read that properly. They must be half day ski school prices here, but the prices at the top (and on the website) do seem to be for the normal ski school hours for both adults and kids!

I think the half days are referring to the snowboarders, who only get 2 hours per day tuition in Niederau, so the prices for ski school will be for the 4 hours, does seem very cheap but if thats the prices they quote you I wouldnt complain!
They are a great ski school though, Im sure your kids will love it! :D

Hi Karen,
I think the phrase “lost in translation” could be used here!
I agree that the Ski School is far better at teaching than presenting its prices ) but a summary of the deals are:
• Any person (3.5yrs – 103yrs) 6 days (10:00 – Noon + 13:30 – 15:30) = €138,-
• Any person (3.5yrs – 103yrs) 6 days (10:00 – Noon OR 13:30 – 15:30) = €120,-
Note that children aged 3.5 – 6/7 will be taught separately from adults (and in a different way!) but this shouldn't affect you :)
Additionally, Children can be accompanied during the lunch period for an extra €8,-
If this totally misses your point  PM me with your contact details and I’ll talk you through it (or find out if I can’t)

thanks for your replies.
I think that when I have been looking I just presummed that the lesssons were only either morning or afternoon. better keep that one to myself and then just play dumb when we get there otherwise i think hubby may have a fit. I am sure we will find some time to ski together. maybe at the end of the week when they have got the hang of it. I had told him that they would be in the lessons in the morning and then we could be together in the afternoon.
I just need to get myself fit or I will be lucky if I can manage one slope at this rate.
