A bright new dawn... and we've come over all global

If you're awake this morning you might notice the top of the page looks a little different from yesterday. We've pushed the search box and a few links to the very top of the page, and moved the banner ads up into the header for your optimum browsing pleasure.
Is that it? Not quite... we've been busy...
J2Ski goes transatlantic
The biggest change for us hides behind the wee flags at top left; j2ski.com now has cousins in Canada and the USA, playing on servers in those countries.
The US version thinks in feet, inches and Fahrenheit for our American friends who like their measurements that way - and you'll shortly be able to get your snow forecasts by e-mail in inches too. Have a nice day y'all!
J2Ski goes Mobile (more easily)
Well we were already... but now if you stumble onto j2ski.com when surfing with your mobile, just click the piccie of a PDA in the top bar to be taken to j2ski.mobi (it's resting right now as we wave spanners at it, but it will be updating again shortly).
So will there be three forums?
No - just the one, here on j2ski.com.
How will it affect us?
Not at all (fingers crossed). But in the event of an asteroid taking out our servers in London, the site should still be available from one of the American servers.
So, even if the sky is on fire, you'll still be able to get the snow forecast for Chamonix and save €20 off your ski hire... sweet. 8)
Got a Mac?
The one thing we don't have right here, right now, is an Apple Mac; so if you happen to be reading this with Safari, a quick note to let us know that the new header looks ok would be much appreciated (assuming you can now surf the site at all, of course...).
Crisps? Thai Sweet Chilli - no contest...
Jolly good...

I have Mac and Pc platforms but spend 90% of time on Mac! All coments will be based on Mac G 5 quad HD!
First let me comment on the "clean" look of the layout. It helps greatly in the "reading" of the texts and messages.
On top left hand side you have Candian, American and ???? flags Smart phones and future PDA and Iphones! Not sure if easy to find!
On top right hand side in the search box ( that is where you type in text I can just see barely the Google logo and text "custom Search"
You also have search logo just above USER line at the right hand section! This may "confuse some" Two search options with different texts and logos? I assume the one above the user line is search for chat issues?
A possible future change. The "window used to type in this message is "small" Can you not increase space to right of this window. Presently all I have is blank space!
Also to increase text window size,,is it possible to move "options" to left aligned with Message body! In this manner you will have more vertical space whixh is what most people want!
The options are used once or twice,,then forgetten!
Please keep "commericial" ads to minimum in text pages since the most important reason skiers go on your site is to "share" ideas, feelings and experiences" That is the raison d'etre!
Checked the speeds on both Mac and PC
for furfing and using your site and both equal!
