But its great to meet up again with people you met on holiday,The OH and me met a great couple 12 years ago and although we dont meet up we send a lengthy letter in a christmas card every year.

But there is no doubt a straight forward explanation for Louise's comment .... Be careful what we take out of context for the sake of "good" sport :wink:

I took Mrs H at the weekend to meet the people I met whilst skiing with my daughter in March. It was a lovely weekend, despite Louise announcing as soon as we arrived that I looked so much different with clothes on.......!!!

Personally, I'm not so sure.
I met a very dodgy couple from Weymouth or somewehere in that neck of the woods last January...

we kept in touch with all our chalet companions in obergurgl for a little while but it fizzled out unforunately. However, a family that we met 6 years ago on a summer holiday in lemnos are still going strong and we've been on holiday with them twice since!
