OK, today is 18 January, I go boarding for the first time on 8 March. I would not say I am fit by any stretch of the imagination, but started going to the gym again at the begginning of 2008.
What should I be doing to get myself fit for boarding? What should I concentrate on, or is it just 'generally fit'.
Will I get there in 2 months?
What do I need to do to get fit?

Yes indeed. Almost all leg muscles in one go.
If you haven't run that distance before walk/run it - run for say 5 minutes then walk for two. Build up until you can beat 12 minutes and then you won't have to walk at all.

This is an exercise plan I would recomend for a quick fitness boost for skiing but will work just as well for boarding. Since you have about 7 weeks use this as your weekly routine.
Monday: 5K run
Tuesday: 50 x crunches, 50 x push ups (or as many as you can of both)
Wednesday: 5K run
Thursday: 50 x crunches, 50 x push ups (or as many as you can of both)
Friday: 2K run
Weekends: Free
There are other exercise regimes which are far more skiing/boarding specific but running will help your cardio and stamina whilst push ups/crunches will help your core stability. Also it isn't too taxing and should only take up a maximum of 40 minutes per day.

You don't have to do them all at once.
Whilst you are watching TV do a set of 10 every time the adverts are on.

That sounds better. Assume the running will strengthen the quads?
I am going for a weeks skiing next week, that will also be good exercise i think!
Excuse now to watch TV!
