My feet are always numb and cold when skiing. I tried to buy new boots today but my feet went numb within 15mins of trying on new boots- this has been the case with all ski boots. I tried superfeet insoles but that did not help- I have tried unclipping the second top clip so it does not press on my nerve but no help. I have quite wide feet with a high instep. Any suggestions what to try next.

There may be many answers to your problem. If you are female, make sure you are trying women specific boots. These have a lower cuff to accommadate the difference in calf muscle height. Check back in the forum archives for discussions of boot fitting.
The bottom line may be that if you are prone to circulation problems, you may just have to use electric boot heaters. These work very well and make skiing possible for people who suffer from cold feet, as in Reynard's syndrome.
There is normally a solution for these problems, but it might take some research to figure it out.

My suggestion is for you to consult a bootfitter before buying new boots. It will likely save you money in the long run, errors can be costly
If you suspect that you have Reynauds Disease, you should consult your doctor.

Getting boots comfortable can be a long process. You should not have to put up with cold feet, something is clearly amiss and needs sorting out. Good Luck :D
