I've read that this year they were on about a seperate charge for the Croix Fry area.
Can anyone shed any light on this as we are going to be staying in Merdassier and Croix Fry area is always a good area for first day warm ups and access back from Beauregard ..

I'am afraid that is true. There has been an argument over the percentage of fees paid to the croix fry area and they have decided to go their own way this year. I asked this question a few months ago when I heard and I received a more informative answer from a local. If you search for la clusaz in the chat search you will find the original thread. If you want to know which runs and lifts are affected the interactive map on the la clusaz home page has the runs and lifts removed from the map. http://external.skiinfo.com/skimap/mm2/EFRCLUSAZ.html. Just copy the link into explorer. It is still possible to use the runs but you can't use the lifts.
Hope this helps

On the subject about la Clusaz, what are the snow conditions like at the minute?
