:D,was thinking the other day if you could only ski/board one more run and then never ski/board again which run would it be and why?.My own choice would be the Aigulle Rouge from the top of Les Arcs down to the village of Le Pre (a run of several km),on a beautifully clear day with azure blue sky, with a temperature of around -2,and after a fresh fall of snow i think this would make a great last run.Not to mention stopping down halfway for lunch at Onre's and then after the final part down sitting in La Ferme with a large glass of Mutzig by the roaring fire would cap it off wonderfully.
How about the thoughts of rest of you?what would be your favourite and why? :D

The piste of Le Pas de Chavanette - called "Le Mur Suisse" (The Swiss Wall) by French skiers. Definitely this run - so scary - 7 people die a year! Much more exciting if it was my last run!!!

After very heavy snow falls, you have to negotiate drifts up to two metres high at the top!! LOVE IT! )

I'm with you there... and I'd hazard a guess that Mr CDP of this parish might join us. Optimum Ski in Villaroger taught us to ski proper-like quite a few <cough> years ago... good memories and one great run - although it is somewhat tamer toward the bottom than it once was.

There was an awsome run from Montgenevre going across the border into Italy. Pretty backcountry with a combination of steeps and cruising that starts above the tree line but takes you through some wonderful alpine scenery and finishes off at the pub.

Mind you I wouldn't mind to finish off my skiing career with a bit of heli skiing (always wanted to do that)

I think someone's been pulling your leg there, 7 people a year don't die on that run.
