Yeee Haaaw! I completed my first blue run at Snowmass. I've learned alot in these 3 days here
1. Eat before you ski
2. Ski's have an outside and inside egde much like an ice skate
3. Little kids are fun to watch
I've never excelled at anything this fast before!!!!! I are stoked
Uh oh, I think I broke'd the lift

Congratulations Ice Ghost :!:

Learning is such fun when the results are as rewarding as your accomplishment is here. Way to go   And the winter is young :!:

IceGhost, Congratulations from me also. Remember skiing is more fun the better you get because you'll then ski more challenging, more interesting and more inspiring terrain.

Well done, people taking tumbles whilst trying to be cool are also fun to watch, think terrain park and "watch this jump" followed by a stack. ooooh yeehhh

It's funny you say that becuase I veiwed an unlucky kid trying to be slick and he popped his collar bone out of his coat. How nasty is that. For mt my picture perfect ski vaction is almost over. Now I get to back to a totalled car ( A kid ran a light an hour before I was to go on the bus and come to snowmass) and I have to start finding a new car. Amazingly I didn't come out of this trip with any broken, bruised or skinned parts. I took a real hard fall after coming off a blue into a very shaded green and found my skis' in places that skis should never go. But as always I got back up and finshed the 2500+ ft run.
