Hi
Very new to this site and love the idea.
Looking for advice on early season skiing from second week in December, flying to Bergamo, looking at Cervinia and Cime Bianche hotel, early days I know but snow cover looks very iffy. I know all can change over night but looking for advice on alterantives say within 3.5 hrs plus some good simple clean accommodation for my daughter and my self.
Early season Italy, where to go

Morning Tony
Canada isn't in Italy. Not the last time I looked, anyway.
Hello Jeremy
I know that, and you know I know that....
I was merely suggesting that anyone wanting to go early December, Italy probably isnt the place to go.
I understand there is a lot of snow in Southern Germany and Austria right now, so maybe they would be the better places to look. I heard Kitzbuhel is opening early this season, as is Mayrhofen, but I dont want too many people to go to Mayrhofen and use MY snow...!!!!

Hi
Why not check out Bardonecchia's website http://www.bardonecchiaski.com/. The Snow God has just delivered tons of the white stuff there and their season opens 7th December. Just hope it lasts till I get there on Jan 6th, don't think I could cope if it was as warm as this Jan.

Hi there,
check Gressoney. We open on the 6th December 2007.
Check also my website www.skiwithmax.com and I can organise your transfers, accommodation, ski passes, overnight in a refuge (a must!) and ski guiding during your stay. Let me know. Ciao Max
